A serious industrial accident occurred Thursday morning in Loudéac (Côtes-d'Armor) within the Sercaa company, specializing in the manufacture of storage silos, reports

For some reason not yet determined, a heavy piece of metal weighing nearly a ton suspended by a hoist came loose around 11 a.m.

She came across two workers below, seriously injuring their pelvis and legs.

The two employees, aged around 40, were rushed to the CHU Pontchaillou in Rennes.

Shocked, several workers who witnessed the accident were also taken care of.

After the accident, the company's activity was stopped and an investigation was opened by the gendarmerie.
