China News Service, December 11, according to Korean media reports, South Korea’s Ministry of Justice revealed on the 11th that Zhao Douchun, the prototype criminal of the movie "Suyuan", will be released from prison at around 6 am local time on the 12th.

According to reports, under normal circumstances, prisoners will be released after 5 a.m., but taking into account the emergencies of Zhao Douchun’s release from prison and compliance with the new crown epidemic prevention rules, the release time will be adjusted.

Before being released from prison, Zhao Douchun will wear an electronic anklet, and the protection observer will confirm whether there is an abnormal signal and take photos of the wearing of the electronic device.

After that, Zhao Douchun will leave the prison at around 6 am local time on the 12th and take an official vehicle to the Anshan Conservation Observatory near his residence.

At the protection observation station, the prescribed procedures such as declaration, notification of compliance matters, and system input will be carried out.

Then, Zhao Douchun will take the official vehicle to the residence again.

The Ministry of Justice plans to install a home monitoring device in Zhao Douchun's residence and will reconfirm the signal abnormality.

A person from the Ministry of Justice explained: "If you take public transportation, unexpected situations may occur during the movement. In this case, the electronic anklet may be damaged, so I decided to use an official car."

Cho Dou-soon was sentenced to 12 years in prison in September 2009 for allegedly kidnapping, raping, and hurting elementary school students in Ansan, Gyeonggi Province in December 2008.

He will be released from prison on December 12, 2020.
