Leipzig and Dortmund, who this week won with Mönchengladbach the right to accompany Bayern Munich in the knockout stages of the Champions League, return to attack the Bavarian leader in the Bundesliga, just like Leverkusen, 2nd in a compact ranking .

During this 11th day of the championship, Leipzig should a priori have the easiest task by hosting Werder Bremen (13th) on Saturday.

Third in the Bundesliga, Julian Nagelsmann's men have 21 points and remain on a 3-2 victory against Manchester United in C1.

Bayern, leader with 23 points and ultra-dominant in its Champions League group, inherited a difficult trip to Union Berlin (6th, 16 points), late Saturday afternoon.

In the event of a misstep, the Bavarian giant could see Dortmund return (4th, 19 points), which receives Stuttgart (8th), and Mönchengladbach (7th, 16 points), which hosts Hertha Berlin (12th) and emerged from a C1 pool including Real Madrid and Inter Milan.

As for Bayern runner-up Leverkusen (2nd, 22 points), he should not have too many problems on Sunday at home against Hoffenheim (10th).

Qualified for the knockout stages of the Europa League, Bayer is one of the only two undefeated teams in the German league, with Wolfsburg (5th) which receives Frankfurt on Friday night.

At the bottom of the standings, Mainz (17th, 5 pts) and Bielefeld (16th) must take points on Saturday against Cologne (15th) and Freiburg (14th, 8 pts).

Editor's note: The first 4 are directly qualified in the Champions League.

Two German teams enter the Europa League directly: either the winner of the Cup and 5th in the Bundesliga, or 5th and 6th in the Bundesliga (if the winner of the Cup qualifies for C1).

Another team (6th or 7th in the championship), goes through qualifying for the Europa League.

The last two in the championship (17th and 18th) are relegated to D2, the 16th is playing a round-trip jump-off with the 3rd in D2.
