"The administration of NRNU MEPhI informs with deep regret that on December 11, 2020, at the age of 81, an outstanding scientist and organizer of science ... a brilliant teacher, former rector and president of NRNU MEPhI, Boris Nikolaevich Onyky, passed away," the statement says.
Earlier it became known that the president of the Pushkin Museum of Fine Arts, Irina Antonova, died at the age of 98.
