New York (AP) - Only about six months after the successful album "Folklore", US pop star Taylor Swift (30) has already announced a new work.

“Evermore”, her ninth studio record, should appear on Friday night, it was a “sister album” to “Folklore”, the singer announced.

It contains 15 songs in the digital version and two bonus songs on special CDs.

"I've never done this before," wrote Swift.

“In the past, I always looked at albums as individual pieces and started planning the next one after they were released.

But with 'Folklore' it was different.

When I made the album, it felt less like a farewell and more like a return. "

She and her team just couldn't stop writing songs, Swift said.

She added, “I also know this holiday season is going to be lonely for most of us, and if there are people out there who make up for missing loved ones with music, like I do, this is it for you."

Born in the US state of Pennsylvania in 1989, Swift became world famous first as a country and then as a pop singer.

She will be 31 on December 13th.
