Saarbrücken (dpa) - Saar Prime Minister Tobias Hans (CDU) has announced a special meeting of the cabinet for this Friday (December 11th) due to the sharply rising corona numbers.
This will discuss the consequences for the state.
"We have to act so that the numbers do not continue to rise - we owe that to the people in our country and the employees in our health system," said Hans on Thursday.
It also needs courageous nationwide action: "To get the situation under control, a tough lockdown is necessary."
