According to the Associated Press, the Boeing 737 MAX, owned by Brazil's largest airline, Gol, operated a commercial flight from Sao Paulo to Porto Alegre. 

It is noted that Gol will reactivate all seven Boeing 737 MAX belonging to it for use on domestic routes.

The company noted that it had carried out the necessary security checks.

In December 2019, Boeing announced plans to suspend production of 737 MAX aircraft from January 2020.

In March 2019, 157 people were killed in a crash of this type of Ethiopian Airlines.

In October 2018, Lion Air's Boeing 737 MAX crashed into the sea in Indonesia.

As a result of the emergency, 189 people died.

In connection with the incidents, the Federal Air Transport Agency closed the airspace of Russia for Boeing 737 MAX airliners.
