From January 1, Lyonnais will have to have a Crit'Air sticker in order to benefit from resident parking, the city said on Wednesday in a letter addressed to subscribers.

To benefit from it, individuals must provide the receipt from the air quality certificate issuing service or the photo of the Crit'Air sticker mentioning the vehicle plate, she adds.

The most polluting professional vehicles excluded

Private vehicles, equipped with the Crit'Air Verte sticker, 1, 2, 3, 4, 5 and not classified, will be authorized to benefit from it, as will the owners of professional vehicles (commercial vehicles, trucks or vans) equipped with the Crit'Air 0, 1 and 2.

On the other hand, professionals whose vehicle is classified Crit'Air 3, 4, 5 and not classified will no longer be eligible for the annual resident on-street parking system, adds the municipality.

A decision taken as part of the extension of the ZFE, put in place in January 2020, which plans to exclude these most polluting utilities over a large area encompassing Lyon, Villeurbanne and Caluire, with the exception of certain major axes .

In this area, their circulation and their parking will no longer be authorized.
