Rüsselsheim (dpa / lhe) - A marriage dispute in an apartment in Rüsselsheim has escalated and a 62-year-old was seriously injured.
The 75-year-old husband was arrested at the scene on Wednesday, the police said.
According to the investigation, the couple's argument escalated in the afternoon and the suspect then probably attacked his wife with a knife.
So far it is not clear whether the woman's injuries are life-threatening.
The investigators assume an attempted homicide.
