"The investigating judge decided to refuse to satisfy this application," RIA Novosti quoted the investigating judge as saying.

Earlier, the Kiev Court of Appeal decided to cancel the arrest in absentia of the former President of Ukraine in the "Euromaidan" case, setting a new trial of this issue in the court of first instance. 

After that, the Pechersky Court of the Ukrainian capital began considering a petition for the absentee election of a preventive measure for Yanukovych.
