The French Paris Saint-Germain match was suspended with its Turkish guest Istanbul Basaksehir on Tuesday in the Champions League, after the fourth referee was accused of racist abuse of a member of the Turkish club's training team.

Basaksehir left the stadium after a long and heated discussion with the match officials during the first half, after the team's assistant coach, Pierre Weibo, was sent off in the 16th minute.

It turned out that the elements of Basaksehir were angry at the remarks of the fourth referee of the match, which appeared to be racist.

The Turkish team had a long discussion with the Romanian referee Ovidio Hatigan before leaving the field.

After about an hour of suspension, the European Football Association (UEFA) announced the resumption of the match after the fourth referee was excluded.

However, a BBC Sports correspondent confirmed that the Turkish club's players refused to resume the match.

UEFA returned later to announce the resumption of the match today, Wednesday, starting from nine o'clock to five minutes in the evening (Mecca time) with new referees management.

Temsilcimiz Başakşehir'in teknik ekibinden Pierre Webo'ya karşı sarf edilen ırkçı sözleri şiddetle kınıyor, UEFA tarafından gereken adımların atılacağına inanıyorum.

Sporda ve hayatın tüm alanlarında ırkçılığa ve ayrımcılığa kayıtsız şartsız karşıyız.
