Biden to nominate Lloyd Austin as Secretary of Defense

If approved by the Senate, Austin will become the first African American to serve as chief of the Pentagon.

Earlier it was reported that Biden intends to appoint the former head of the Federal Reserve System (FRS) Janet Yellen to the post of Treasury Secretary.
