Abu Dhabi Media Group and i24NEWS, an Israeli channel that speaks foreign languages, including Arabic, announced the signing of a memorandum of understanding to develop content and provide mutual news coverage for the two institutions' staff, and the Abu Dhabi Investment Office confirmed that it will open an office in Israel soon.

And the Emirates News Agency reported that the memorandum of understanding comes in line with the goals of Abu Dhabi Media and the Israeli channel in developing the production of distinguished content that keeps pace with the aspirations and interests of the public.

This memorandum also allows exchange of coverage in the field of news, current issues, reports, documentaries, and some archival materials, with a focus on the Arabic language.

Abu Dhabi Media Group is part of "Holding" (ADQ), which is one of the largest holding companies in the region, within major non-oil sectors in the emirate of Abu Dhabi.

"I24 News" was launched in July 2013 as part of the "Altis" group, owned by businessman Patrick Drahi, and has studios in Israel, the United States and Europe.

On the other hand, Tariq Bin Hindi, Director-General of the Abu Dhabi Investment Office, said today, Monday, that he would open an office in Israel within weeks, considering that "this is very exciting."

The Abu Dhabi Investment Office announced in September that it would open its first office outside the UAE in Tel Aviv, following the signing of an agreement to establish official relations between the UAE and Israel.
