The Left Party's budget proposal would have meant an increase of SEK 416 million compared with 2020, which is a larger increase than all other parties' proposals.

Suggests salary investment

The major proposals include a wage investment in health care of SEK 60 million, increased basic staffing in health care by SEK 50 million, a reduction in working hours in health care by SEK 25 million, an increase in youth clinics of SEK 10 million and investments in public transport SEK 28 million.

The cultural budget is also larger than that of other parties.

In addition, they support the coalition's proposals for major initiatives regarding deferred care, mental illness, close care, cancer care and digitalisation.

Want to remove support for airport

On the other hand, the Left Party wants to remove the region's support for Jönköping Airport of SEK 6 million.

The Left Party's proposal for investments means that they receive less money for the future than other parties.

By 2025, they will land on a surplus of 178 million, to compare with, for example, the coalition, which expects a surplus of 934 million kronor.
