Jacline Mouraud, figure of "yellow vests", announced on Monday her candidacy for the 2022 presidential election as a representative of "ordinary France" and facing the "candidate" Emmanuel Macron who, she believes, "n ' is more up to his role as president ”.

Jacline Mouraud, 53, posted in October 2018 on Facebook a video that went viral denouncing "the stalking of motorists", making a muse of "yellow vests".

Independent entrepreneur in Bohal (Morbihan), Jacline Mouraud said he was considering the 2022 presidential election, in an interview with AFP in November 2019. The main candidates for the Elysee officially declared are the leader of rebellious France Jean-Luc Mélenchon and the president of the National Rally Marine Le Pen.

Former spokesperson for the "yellow vests"

"Due to the general situation in France, I decided, after careful consideration, to participate in the 2022 presidential election to represent the ordinary people of which I am," said Jacline Mouraud.

“My ambition is to give a voice back to those who have been deprived of it for too long.

My desire is to bring together the French people in their diversity, despite the numerous and unjust fractures which tear our society apart and which divide us, ”she writes.

Joined by AFP, Jacline Mouraud said he had “distanced himself from the violence of the movement” of “yellow vests” while remaining faithful to the non-violence of the “historic channel” of the movement.

Former spokesperson for "yellow vests", she says she wants to represent "ordinary France the one that nobody cares about in Paris, technocrats who never leave their offices".

“Clearly, my decision was taken in September, I wanted to wait until January to announce it and these are the words of Emmanuel Macron at the Brut media, remarks unworthy of a president (which decided me ), ”She explained.

"When he speaks of police violence, he is no longer up to the job, the candidate was stronger (than the) president," said Ms. Mouraud.

“I am on the social right, but I am not one of those like Mélenchon who thinks that by destroying France we make it progress.

I am not in the seraglio of Marine Le Pen, not a conservative either.

I am for a France of progress but a France of good sense ”, assures Jacline Mouraud who hopes to collect the 500 sponsorships of elected officials necessary to validate his candidacy.

“As it stands, it is quite possible.

I work with mayors, I work with people who work with a reality on the ground, ”emphasizes Jacline Mouraud.
