Magdeburg (AP) - SC Magdeburg celebrated its second home win in the handball Bundesliga.

Against the TBV Lemgo Lippe it was on Sunday 30:28 (12:13).

The best throwers were Omar Ingi Magnusson (9/7) at SCM and Tim Suton and Andreas Cederholm (6 each) at TBV.

For the SCM it was the fifth win in the ninth league game.

The SCM found it difficult to get up to speed in the attack.

The hosts had to work hard for every goal from the position attack.

Lemgo, on the other hand, was able to set some counter attacks and led (5: 3/10.).

After being outnumbered, the SCM was able to take a short lead, but did not manage to turn the game fundamentally.

Two seven meters just before the break let the gap at least remain tolerable.

Even after the break, the game remained close, although not much changed in terms of play.

The SCM struggled with the luck of the throw, hit the crossbar and post six times.

Five minutes before the end, Lemgos Suton had to pass injured and the SCM saved a mini lead in the finish line.
