Chemnitz (AP) - The Niners Chemnitz's false start in the basketball Bundesliga season is perfect.

The promoted team lost to the Fraport Skyliners from Frankfurt with 70:83 (34:40) on Sunday and thus also lost his fourth game.

Terrell Harris was the best thrower from Chemnitz with 21 points.

The Skyliners had their most successful shooter in Matt Mobley with 29 points.

The Niners couldn't be bothered by an initial 5:10 deficit (4th minute) and were able to balance the first quarter, which ended at 21:21.

In the second section, too, the game between the two teams without a win to date remained fiercely contested.

Only in the final phase of the first round did the Frankfurter pull away slightly.

After changing sides, the Chemnitz team initially managed a 14: 4 run.

Harris converted a free throw to the 48:44 lead (25th), which however only lasted for a short time.

A four-minute phase without a point for the Saxons let the game tip again in favor of the guests.

The Skyliners pulled away at 58:51 by the third quarter break.

The deficit of the Niners quickly grew to eleven points at the beginning of the final section.

Coach Rodrigo Pastore responded with an early break, which, however, had no effect.

In the 36th minute Chemnitz was 59:77 behind.

The Saxons did not stand up in the final phase.
