26 cultural organizers in Halland have received part of the Cultural Council's crisis support money for events that have been canceled due to the prevailing pandemic. A total of SEK 14 million ends up in Halland, the largest amount going to 2Entertain and the dance band Matz Bladhs, who we met earlier this autumn and who told us about a situation where they have not been able to invoice since March when the pandemic broke out.
Now they receive about half a million kronor in support.
- It ensures that we can maintain our fixed costs in the meantime, it is absolutely positive.
There are many holes to put the money in, says Niclas.
