The house where the country store is located was built in 1850 in the village Häste on Rödön, but was moved to Krokom in 1890. It was an inn and shop in the house until 1965 and it was also used as a residential building until the late 90s.
In 2001, Carina Grahn Hellberg bought the property and has since run it as a country trade museum with a shop and café.
- I may not have thought it would be like this when I started 20 years ago, but it has been an incredibly fun time with many nice meetings.
