The first alarm came at 23:46, when a security guard alerted about an ongoing arrow meeting on Pilgatan in Västerås.

More than 20 cars are said to have gathered there and played loud music.

Several police patrols then went there, whereupon a person in his late teens was taken into custody according to the law on the care of intoxicated persons (LOB).

An hour later, the police alerted again, this time about an ongoing car meeting at Stenby in Västerås.

There, three people in their late teens were taken into custody according to LOB, and one of them, a man, is also suspected of violent resistance.

The police sprayed and handcuffed him.

Another drunk teenager was abducted from the scene and taken home to a guardian.

- It is not so smart to gather so many people in these times, given the spread of infection.

And it is also not smart to drink at car-borne parties, says Magnus Jansson Klarin, press spokesperson for police region Mitt.
