Los Angeles (AP) - Pop superstar and songwriter Billie Eilish (18) has now completely canceled her world tour, which was postponed in March due to the corona pandemic.

You have played through many scenarios for a continuation of the tour, but currently nothing is really possible, Eilish told her fans on Twitter on Friday.

She would now rather reimburse the expenses for the concert tickets.

As soon as the situation permits, they would announce the next tour.

Eilish assured her that she missed being on stage for her fans very much.

"I love you so much.

Stay safe, drink plenty of water and wear a mask, ”wrote the singer.

Eilish announced her six-month “Where Do We Go?” World tour in autumn 2019.

Shortly after the start in the USA in March, the five-time Grammy winner had to cancel the tour due to the Corona crisis.

At first it was considered to make up for the unusual appearances.

As part of the planned tour, which was to lead through the USA, South America and Europe, concerts in Berlin and Cologne were also on the program in July.

For Eilish fans there will soon be a cinematic insight into the life of the pop star.

In February, the biographical documentary "Billie Eilish: The World's A Little Blurry" will be shown in cinemas and via the Apple streaming service Apple TV Plus.
