Kalmar FF will take on BK Häcken at home on Sunday afternoon.

Kalmar has not won at Guldfågeln arena since May 2019.

- It will be a thriller, a very important match and it will not be a good football.

The most important thing will be what we get with us, says Markus Rosenlund club manager in Kalmar FF.

Many injuries in the squad

Kalmar has for better or worse been forced to play with a thin squad.

The injuries have replaced each other and from time to time it has of course been a struggle when heavy experienced team captain Viktor Elm was forced to give up due to a back injury.

Before the season, the hope was also that the goal thief and future hopeful Nils Fröling would blossom to his full potential.

But he too has been injured for a long time.

- The last I heard is that everyone is available for games tomorrow and we will have an away win against AIK away in the back, there is a huge will to fight to the last drop of blood, says Rosenlund.

Lots of playing time for new players

The injuries and the poor finances during the season have meant an unexpected amount of playing time for the younger talents.

These players have got routine or at least a taste of the Allsvenskan tempo.

But Bergstrand's philosophy has cost points.

Now it remains to be seen if it holds.

- I think that when we straighten this out, Kalmar FF will have all the conditions to play attractive Allsvenskan football next season as well, says Anders Henriksson, chairman of Kalmar FF.

"Better to stay"

Should Kalmar FF leave the Allsvenskan, it also means a loss of 11 million in central support, player loss and sponsorship loss.

- In every way, it is better for us to stay in the Allsvenskan.

For now, we only focus on match after match, but of course there is a plan in the event of a relegation, says Marcus Rosenlund, club manager in Kalmar FF.
