Suhl (dpa) - The Bundesliga volleyball players at VfB Suhl are getting better and faster.
After the surprising 3-2 win against leaders MTV Allianz Stuttgart last Wednesday, coach Laszlo Hollosy's team even won 3-0 (27:25, 25:21, 25:14) at the Ladies in Black Aachen on Saturday.
Already in the first sentence, the guests dictated what would happen, so that it didn't really have to come to the tight final phase.
First, the VfB team had given their own set ball, then fended off an opposing set, only to decide this close matter for themselves.
Aachen also had noticeable problems with Suhl's attack force in the second and third set, which was sparked mainly by middle blocker Laura de Zwart and the two outside attackers Agnes Pallag and VfB captain Claudia Steger.
The second set was decided in favor of the guests after the second technical time-out, in the third, the defense of the Aacheners seemed to have already expired in the Suhl 8-2 lead.
