“In her letter, Svetlana Tikhanovskaya talks about the events in Belarus, the heroism of the peaceful people and calls on Pope Francis to support Belarusians in their pursuit of“ better politics ”and“ social friendship, ”Tikhanovskaya said in a Telegram message.
It is noted that the letter was sent directly to the State Secretariat of the Vatican, and also personally handed over to the apostolic nuncio in Lithuania by a member of the international team of the Svetlana Tikhanovskaya Office, Denis Kuchinsky.
Earlier, Tikhanovskaya said that she plans to meet with US presidential candidate Joe Biden.
