  The General Administration of Market Supervision recently held a video and telephone conference on strengthening the traceability management of imported cold chain food, requesting the market supervision departments of all provinces to take informatization traceability as a “prescribed action”, optimize and improve provincial platforms, accelerate data connection with national platforms, and guide and urge Producers and operators connect with provincial platforms to timely and accurately upload key data such as the source, destination, quantity, and location of the goods to ensure that the source can be checked and whereabouts can be traced. When abnormal situations occur, they can be "one-click investigation and rapid positioning". Gain valuable time for epidemic prevention and control.

Market supervision departments at all levels shall conduct a comprehensive investigation of food importers, production and operation enterprises, edible agricultural products wholesale markets, shopping malls, supermarkets, fresh food e-commerce, catering companies, etc., and realize full coverage of cold storages built by enterprises and third-party cold storages before the end of the year.

It is necessary to strengthen normal supervision and emergency response, and strictly prevent and control imported cold chain food from port to domestic production, circulation, and sales.
