A week after the surprising 2-0 victory over FC Ingolstadt, SVM had slight play advantages in the duel between the relegation candidates at 1. FC Magdeburg on Friday evening, but had to be satisfied with a 0-0 in the end.
Meppen remained without defeat for the second time and Magdeburg for the third time in a row.
The Meppener will continue on this Tuesday (7 p.m.).
Then Lower Saxony can make up more ground in the relegation battle in the home game against SV Waldhof Mannheim.
