"The UN Secretary General calls on Armenia and Azerbaijan to resume negotiations under the auspices of the OSCE Minsk Group co-chairs in order to achieve a sustainable settlement," TASS quotes the words of the official representative of the UN Secretary General Stefan Dujarrik.
Dujarrik noted that Guterres "also calls on the governments and peoples of Armenia and Azerbaijan to embark on the path of dialogue leading to regional peace, stability and prosperity."
Earlier, Russian Foreign Minister Sergei Lavrov discussed with UN Secretary General Antonio Guterres the possibilities of the UN system organizations to resolve humanitarian problems in Nagorno-Karabakh.
