Berlin (AP) - The former captain of the Bundesliga negative record of Tasmania Berlin encourages FC Schalke 04.
"Oh, they're just scratching our record," said the 82-year-old Hans-Günter Becker to the newspapers of the Funke media group.
Tasmania had not won 31 games in a row in the 1965/66 season.
Schalke faces the game against Bayer Leverkusen this Sunday (6 p.m. / Sky) across all seasons at 25.
“I'm keeping my fingers crossed for Schalke, I wish all footballing skills and luck that they stay in the Bundesliga.
But we'll keep this legendary title, ”said Becker.
Because of the horror season 55 years ago, the Berlin club also holds the records for the most defeats (28), the fewest own hits (15) and most goals against (118) in one season.
