"The Russian Embassy in Turkey and the Russian Consulate General in Istanbul are in contact with the Turkish authorities, clarify information about their possible detention, and are making the necessary efforts to establish the whereabouts of the journalists," the Foreign Ministry said.

The Foreign Ministry expressed hope for the operational assistance of the Turkish side.
