Pirmasens (dpa / lrs) - Almost six months after a traffic accident with one dead and six injured in Pirmasens, the trial against the alleged perpetrator begins today, Thursday.
The defendant is charged with negligent homicide and negligent bodily harm in six cases before the Pirmasens District Court.
The accused is said to have driven his car into a group in front of a pub in Pirmasens on June 14th.
One man died.
According to the prosecutor, there is no sign of intent.
The jury's court should clarify, among other things, whether the accused with 2.2 per mille of alcohol in the blood was possibly less culpable.

According to the court, a decision is still possible on Thursday.
There are initially no follow-up appointments planned, said a spokeswoman.
