Russian Ministry of Foreign Affairs: NATO intensifies military activities in the Black Sea region to destabilize the region and Russia is seriously concerned

On December 3, local time, Russian Foreign Ministry spokesperson Zakharova stated at a regular press conference that NATO will expand the space for military activities in the Black Sea and attract other countries outside the region to participate.

The number of naval ships of NATO member states entering the ports of the allies and partners in the Black Sea, and the number of reconnaissance aircraft and unmanned aerial vehicles flying along the Russian border has increased significantly.

In addition, NATO has deployed offensive weapons in the territories of Bulgaria and Romania. During the exercise, it carried out a "sand table deduction" in which a nuclear-capable US strategic bomber launched an attack on Russia, and attracted and trained "players" such as Ukraine and Georgia to participate.

Zakharova emphasized that Russia has expressed serious concern about NATO’s above-mentioned actions, believing that it undermines regional stability and creates a "wedge" between neighboring countries.

The Russian side will consider making an appropriate response.
