Hamburg (dpa / lno) - Due to the corona lockdown, Tui Cruises has to cancel a planned Caribbean tour of "Mein Schiff 1" at short notice.
"Today we received the news that all German ports are now refusing the planned departure in December," said a spokeswoman for the cruise company in Hamburg on Thursday.
The planned 35-day trip to the Caribbean should begin on December 10th.
The spokeswoman did not say where the ship was supposed to cast off.
Tui Cruises is now offering guests of the Caribbean tour a trip on a three-week Canary Islands cruise from December 17th at a special price.
The company spokeswoman emphasized that Tui Cruises had carried out 50 cruises with more than 45,000 guests since the end of July, without incident.
A strict hygiene concept applies on board.
The guests would only come on the ship with a negative corona test.
