, an experienced Democratic strategist who has previously played the same role with former President Bill Clinton as well as prestigious roles in the Democratic Party, in presidential campaigns Al Gore and Hillary Clinton, and in the American Federation of Teachers.

Harris also announced the appointment of
Rohini Kosoglu
(of Sinhalese descent) as his domestic policy advisor and
Nancy McEldowney
as his national security advisor: the former had been a 'top adviser' on his election campaign, the latter is a former ambassador to Bulgaria with 30 years of diplomatic service.
