US President-elect Joe Biden is scheduled to review a letter between President Donald Trump and North Korean leader Kim Jong-un, CNN reported.

CNN said on the 3rd local time, "Biden's foreign policy team will soon approach the letter that President Trump exchanged with Kim Jong-un."

A source close to the subcommittee in the press said, "The letters may provide insight into Kim Jong-un's thinking, or at least his approach to his relationship with Trump.

President Trump and Chairman Kim have exchanged letters since 2018, when the first US-North Korea summit was held, and some of them were released in September through the book'Rage' by senior US journalist Bob Woodward.

These letters belong to the US government, not President Trump.

Regarding Biden's foreign policy, CNN said, "We expect Biden to adopt a more traditional approach rather than Trump, and rather than stand alone, attract allies and partners."
