02 December 2020 Negative start for Wall Street, with the Dow Jones at -0.71% and the Nasdaq at -0.88%.



Investors around the world look forward to developments in the vaccine race.

Today London has given the green light to the Pfizer-Biontech one.

And the London market is the only positive in the Old Continent: it marks an increase of 0.84%.


The other lists are down: Milan drops one percentage point, weighed down by bank securities (despite the drop in the spread to 113 basis points);

Frankfurt lost 0.58% and Paris 0.35%.



In Piazza Affari the worst stock is Banco Bpm (-4.3%) after the managing director Castagna confirmed the bank's interest in a merger.


The banking risk is therefore not over yet.

The sector is now weak in Milan.
