On October 9 at 14:10, Habib Chaab flies to Istanbul and his family's life changes forever.

The day before, the family had eaten dinner together and spent time with the children.

No one in the family knew about the trip.

The family has been left with a thousand unanswered questions and has only one answer.

He could not have gone there voluntarily.

- I am one hundred percent sure of this, says his ex-wife.

"Live with this day and night"

A month ago, she lived a seemingly ordinary life in Sweden and worked as an assistant nurse at a residence in Central Sweden.

Had a working relationship with her ex-husband who helped with the joint children.

Today, life is something else.

Somehow Habib Chaab was taken to Iran from Turkey.

Shortly afterwards, he was shown in a propaganda documentary and confessed to terrorist acts.

- Sweden promised to protect us, but it did not happen.

The children are not allowed to go to school.

I try to just let the kids forget.

But it is very difficult, she says.

- My little daughter is very sad, she dreams of her father every night.

She wakes up and says "dad will run away from stupid people in Iran".

She thinks Dad will make it.

I live with this every day and every night.

"Everyone needs to know about this"

What Swedish authorities do is difficult to know, but the silent diplomacy has made the woman and the family feel abandoned.

- The Ministry of Foreign Affairs does nothing, they just try to contact the embassy in Iran.

I have not received any information in the last two weeks.

That's just it.

I wish they could contact me even if they did not know anything.

They may not understand what situation we are in, how my children are doing, they do not ask at all.

What do you want Swedish authorities to do?

- There are spies in Sweden.

Everyone needs to know about this, it's not just dangerous for Habib and people like us.

Thousands of people come to Sweden hoping for security and rights.

We live without knowing what will happen.

But I hope they will help bring back Habib.

SVT has sought the Iranian embassy in Stockholm, the Turkish embassy in Stockholm, Foreign Minister Ann Linde, responsible officials at the Ministry for Foreign Affairs, the Swedish ambassador in Ankara and the Swedish ambassador in Tehran.

Everyone declines an interview.
