Nebenzya spoke at a solemn meeting of the UN General Assembly in memory of all the victims of the Second World War on behalf of Russia, Armenia, Azerbaijan, Belarus, China, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, Tajikistan, Turkmenistan and Uzbekistan. 

He noted that recently there have been attempts to rewrite the history of World War II, as well as the development of erroneous concepts that deny aggression and glorify "wars of conquest and colonial domination."

“The international community must remain united and be on guard at all times to suppress any germs of Nazi ideology in time.
