The law was adopted by the State Duma deputies on November 26. 

The document provides for the revision of the norms for teleworking, and also clarifies the availability of their application and the possibility of combining office and remote work.

As stated on the website of the State Duma, the law defines cases when an employee can be transferred to a remote location without his consent.

This includes disasters and accidents, industrial accidents, fires, floods, earthquakes, epidemics.

In addition, guarantees for the remuneration of a remote worker are fixed, and it is also noted that the transition to such a work format cannot be a reason for reducing wages.
