The high consumption threshold keeps many ordinary consumers like Liao Xianlun out.

  The change originated from the special action to rectify the "unhealthy practices in clubs" initiated by Zhejiang Province at the end of 2013.

The remediation centered on the West Lake scenic spot, which was pushed out simultaneously across the province, and it is still deepening today.

1 Stop the unhealthy wind in the clubhouse——

  "It is said that there was a saying at the time that the restaurant's grade is not high, it depends on whether the round table has a table cloth. The table cloth is definitely not high, because the texture of the log is not shown to the guests." Wen Hongliang told reporters.

  Luxury and privacy also make these places a breeding ground for corruption.

  "People who enter and leave the clubhouse are either rich or expensive. The participation of public officials not only separates themselves from the masses and encourages extravagance, but it is also easy to be hunted and power rent-seeking." Wen Hongliang, for example, said that a certain section of road was once at night. Traffic jams, because cars and buses entering and leaving the club are intertwined, affecting normal traffic.

  According to statistics, Zhejiang Province has found 98 high-end business establishments (private clubs) in the special rectification action, shut down 20 of them, transformed 76 of them, and recovered 2 of them at the expiry of the term.

Among them, Hangzhou City ranked 56 high-end business premises (private clubs), closed 2 and restructured 54.

  "There are two main types of clubs found out. One is only open to individual people and adopts the membership system. This is very individual. Although there is no membership system, the general consumer may enter for various reasons. The reporter learned that, in addition to the "Linhu Vegetarian", another courtyard rented by the company to operate the tea ceremony had problems such as insufficient opening, marginalization, and excessive office space.

  According to the grid member Chen Lei, the neighboring courtyard belongs to the same building complex as "Linhu Vegetarian", and both are historical buildings in Hangzhou.

The inspection found that the courtyard often closed its gates, leaving only a small iron gate to pass through. A two-story small building, one of the main buildings in the courtyard, was also closed for a long time.

  "After I asked the staff to open the door, I found that there were photocopiers, computers, and discarded tables and chairs on the first floor, which looked like a storage room; on the second floor were several offices of the company, including the boss's office with a code lock, and the total office area It accounts for more than 30%."   Under the guidance of the Zhejiang Provincial Commission for Discipline Inspection and Supervision, Hangzhou took the lead.
