The ruling and opposition parties agreed on a budget for next year with a total of 558 trillion won yesterday (one day).

It has been 11 years since the budget has increased by 2.2 trillion won from the 556 trillion won organized by the government.

This budget reflects the 3 trillion won of the 3rd disaster support fund and 900 billion won of the COVID-19 vaccine budget, equivalent to 44 million people, to be paid to specific industries and classes.

The budget proposal is handled at the plenary session of the National Assembly this afternoon, and it has been six years since the introduction of the National Assembly Advancement Act in 2014 to meet the legal deadline for processing the budget proposal.
