Employees of the Prosecutor's Office and Rosprirodnadzor are investigating the reasons for the appearance of oil stains on the Angara River in Irkutsk, Interfax reports with reference to the Baikal Interregional Environmental Prosecutor's Office.
As noted in the department, specialists from Rosprirodnadzor went to the site to take samples and establish the causes of pollution.
Earlier it was reported that in Novouralsk, Sverdlovsk region, they would check information about an oil spill in the water area of the Taloy River.
