Našice (dpa) - After the last two defeats, handball Bundesliga team SC Magdeburg has found its way back to success.

In the EHF European League, the green-reds won 32:24 (15: 8) against Croatia's runner-up RK Nexe Našice.

With five goals each, Zeljko Musa and Lukas Mertens were the best throwers at SCM, while Janko Kevic scored the most frequently among the hosts with seven goals.

With the third win in the fourth game, Magdeburg has the chance of winning the group.

The SC Magdeburg quickly took a lead with good defensive work, which the Elbestädter expanded to four goals (8: 4/15) early on.

The hosts tried the seventh outfield player in attack, but did not find the gaps.

Instead, the SCM increased the lead to seven goals (15: 8/28.).

After the break, the game became more hectic, but Magdeburg stubbornly defended its lead (22: 15/45.) And easily brought the victory to the finish.
