“The peacekeepers ensure the safety of civil vehicles and the movement of residents through the Lachin corridor, the transportation of food and various goods, accompany and ensure the safety of repair teams performing tasks to restore infrastructure facilities,” TASS reports.
More than 26 thousand refugees have returned to their former residences in Karabakh since November 14, the ministry added.
Earlier, the Russian Ministry of Defense told about the transfer of the Kelbajar region of Karabakh to Azerbaijan under the control of Russian peacekeepers.
Also, units of the Armed Forces of Azerbaijan entered the Lachin region.
