China News Service, Changsha, December 1 (Wang Haohao) The Yuanjiangshan coal mine accident in Leiyang City, Hunan Province has made new progress.

The reporter learned from the front line of the accident on December 1 that after the flooding accident in Yuanjiangshan Coal Mine, Hunan Province made every effort to carry out search and rescue work on 13 missing persons.

  At present, Hunan Province has mobilized emergency forces such as mine pumping, geology, rescue, power, communications, and firefighting, as well as more than 860 people from 11 rescue teams inside and outside the province to carry out intensive emergency response and rescue.

  In response to the complex geological conditions of the accident mine, the underground power facilities and drainage capacity cannot meet the rescue needs, and the need to rebuild the pumping system, the rescue site headquarters organized experts to study, formulate and implement emergency rescue plans.

In the early morning of November 30, the first drainage point began to drain.

At present, the water level has begun to drop, and rescue work is underway.
