MMFaced with the Greeks of Olympiakos, OM hopes to interrupt their record black series of 13 consecutive losses in C1 on Tuesday while the greats of Europe like Real and Liverpool can advance to the knockout stages.

Group A: Atlético aim for 8th

(6:55 p.m.) Lokomotiv Moscow - RB Salzburg

(9:00 p.m.) Atlético de Madrid - Bayern Munich

Already qualified and guaranteed to finish first, Bayern Munich still has a role of referee to play.

The European champions are moving to Madrid where Atlético will try to win their ticket for the 8th.

The Colchoneros (2nd, 5 pts) will have to win for this and count on a misstep from Lokomotiv Moscow (3rd, 3 pts) which receives RB Salzburg (4th, 1pt).

A draw could be enough if the Russians bow on their turf, as the Madrilenians will have an advantage in the event of a tie on points thanks to the 1-1 draw in Moscow (the second leg in Spain ended with a 0-0).

The task promises to be difficult for Diego Simeone's men, against a Bayern who have won their last 15 matches in C1, a record.

In the other meeting of the evening, the two outsiders, still not eliminated, will play their survival in the competition, with the second objective of seizing the third qualifying place for the Europa League.

Group B: Gladbach and Real one step away

(6:55 p.m.) Shakhtar Donetsk - Real Madrid

(9 p.m.) Borussia Mönchengladbach - Inter Milan

Everything could be decided on Tuesday evening for the round of 16: if Mönchengladbach and Real Madrid beat Inter Milan and Shakhtar Donetsk respectively, they will be qualified.

A draw could even be enough for the Germans (1st, 8 pts) at home against the very last Interists (2 pts), provided that Real (2nd, 7 pts) does not lose in Ukraine.

In difficulty after the first two meetings (a defeat and a draw), the Madrilenians gave themselves a breath of fresh air after their two successes against the Milanese and have the opportunity to reassure themselves against the Ukrainians who conceded 10 goals in two matches against Gladbach.

In a very bad position, Inter cuts down their last card and must hope for a first success by counting on a misstep from Real so as not to leave C1 prematurely.

Group C: Marseille wants to get out of the dark

(9 p.m.) Porto - Manchester City

Marseille - Olympiakos

After having reached the inglorious record of 13 consecutive defeats in C1 last Wednesday against Porto (2-0), the Marseillais want, at least, to save the honor and hope to relaunch in the race for 3rd place.

This will require a success against Olympiakos at the Velodrome, if possible wider than the 1-0 conceded in Piraeus: a real challenge for Olympians who have not scored a single goal in four C1 matches.

With a victory against the Greeks whose playmaker Mathieu Valbuena is uncertain - recovering, he nevertheless made the trip with the team, as he tweeted on Monday morning - the men of André Villas-Boas could dream of qualifying for the Europa League, even if it will then be necessary to challenge Manchester City on the last day.

The Citizens (1st, 12 pts), already qualified, receive Porto (2nd, 9 pts), which is missing a point to be assured of a place in 8th.

Group D: Liverpool masters their destiny

(9:00 p.m.) Liverpool - Ajax Amsterdam

Atalanta Bergamo - Midtjylland

After the surprise loss last week against Atalanta at Anfield, Liverpool can redeem themselves with the reception of Ajax Amsterdam, against whom a victory would mean qualifying for the next round.

The Reds, still leaders with 9 points, could be content with a draw if Atalanta (3rd, 7 pts) defeat the Danes of Midtjylland, who lost their first four matches.

But Ajax (2nd, 7 pts) would be well inspired to take three points before the "final" scheduled for December 9 in Amsterdam against the Lombards, while the two teams are neck and neck after the draw 2- 2 to go.
