November 30, 2020 Sentenced to one year in prison Armando Spada in the trial in which he is accused of attempted private violence against the journalist Federica Angeli, a few weeks ago delegated to the suburbs for the Municipality of Rome. 



The story dates back to 2013 when the reporter went to the Ostia bathhouse run by Spada with a camera in sight and another hidden to do interviews.

According to the prosecution, Spada threatened the journalist with the phrase "mo 'te shot in the head" to induce her to delete the video.



"This sentence comes more than seven years after the facts, at the end of a particularly troubled judicial process - explains the lawyer Giulio Vasaturo, civil party attorney for Federica Angeli and the Order of Journalists - Seven years since Federica Angeli and her family they spent under escort due to threats from the Ostia mafias. This pronouncement strengthens the commitment of every journalist and every citizen against the arrogance of criminal organizations ". 



The Fnsi expresses satisfaction


The National Federation of the Italian Press expresses satisfaction with the sentence of the court of Rome.
