Four corona cases: the game between Verl and Zwickau canceled

Zwickau (dpa) - The catch-up game scheduled for Tuesday by third division football team FSV Zwickau at SC Verl had to be canceled again by the German Football Association due to several positive corona findings in Saxony.

As the FSV announced on Monday, the test result for four Zwickau players was positive.

The team, which was already on the way to the Paderborn venue, had to break off the journey and, on the orders of the responsible health department, went to quarantine immediately after their return.

For the time being, the isolation applies to all players and coaches who were on the bus.

A catch-up date for the game in Verl has not yet been set.
