Karlsruhe (AP) - The Southwest Regional Football League will resume its games from December 11th to 13th.

The league announced on Monday evening.

The basis of the decision is that, according to the Corona Ordinance, games and team operations will be possible again in Rhineland-Palatinate from December 1.

In Baden-Wuerttemberg and Hesse, the teams were also allowed to practice training and competitions in November; the Saarland representatives of the Regionalliga Südwest could do so with a special permit.

Corona tests should be carried out on players, officials and referees before the games.

In the new year, the season is to continue on the second weekend in January, instead of the previous one as originally planned, the league announced.

In order to avoid game failures in the winter months, all clubs that do not have underfloor heating at their venue were obliged to report an alternative artificial turf field.
