November 30, 2020 On the reunification between children and parents "there is a confrontation that will go on, but here it is a question of giving absolute priority to the defense of health networks. I think nobody wants the third wave".

Minister Francesco Boccia says this to Rainews24 about possible exceptions for travel to allow family reunification at Christmas for those who live in different regions.

"To avoid the third wave we must continue in December with the rigor and social distancing that must prevail over any need. Many of us have relatives in another region, but each of us wants our loved ones to be well and that health workers can work in the best possible way ".

"In December with these measures it is possible to make the entire system safe by crossing the vaccination campaign in the spring, but to do so we cannot allow slowdowns. I am for clear and uninterpretable rules".

The Minister for Regional Affairs then, when asked if he will go to Puglia, his homeland for the Christmas holidays, replies: "If the rules say that you cannot move, I will stay in Rome at Christmas. hug with my parents and relatives will come and if it will arrive on a different day than usual, I think everyone will understand ".

Minister Boccia then calls for compliance with the measures in reference to the crowd that took place this weekend in the shopping streets of Lombardy and Piedmont: "The reaction is natural, there is an understandable desire to go back around. it is natural to disregard the rules and social distancing ".

Curfew at 22 even on New Year's Eve

Rigorous also with regard to New Year's: "If we decide that there is a time limit for travel, that we go home regardless of what needs to be done: is New Year to be celebrated? We celebrate at home "says Boccia.

Is it true that he said 'they have to pass over my corpse' if the curfew is skipped at 10pm?

Boccia is asked: "Many things are said in meetings and in any case, yes, I think so, like Speranza and the whole government. Prudence and attention is our line, a line that puts health above everything".

Regarding the new Dpcm on anti-Covid measures, Boccia then remembers: "Tomorrow morning there will be a meeting of the State-Regions conference, then there will be a parliamentary debate" and finally "President Conte will draw conclusions".

"Patrimonial, reshuffle? First let's make the country safe"

Boccia also strongly emphasizes on a possible patrimonial: "A proposal in this sense has never been made. If then a debate opens on one of the many amendments that are presented, okay but it is an amendment signed by two deputies ... The position of the Democratic Party and of the government is clear: we are in favor of tax cuts and a relentless fight against tax evasion ".

Finally on a possible reshuffle he explains: "Now let's secure the country then there will be an opportunity to evaluate a possible reshuffle, on the estate. Anyone who thinks that this government does not have a long-term perspective is well advised to say it, but let's do it when the there will be no more health emergency ".
