UAE University completes 31 research studies related to "Covid-19"

The United Arab Emirates University has completed 31 research studies related to the "Covid-19" pandemic, in which researchers from the faculty and students from all the university's faculties and scientific centers, and from various scientific disciplines, participated in the university.

The university confirmed that these research studies have greatly contributed to identifying the mechanisms and understanding of "Covid-19", and this comes within the university's role in achieving the goals of the state's national agenda by establishing strong partnerships with institutions, organizations and bodies in the health sector locally and internationally, for the purposes of research in Areas of interest to society, and to participate with scientists, researchers and society to provide scientific solutions that help in making strategic decisions entrusted to the concerned authorities.

The Associate Deputy for Scientific Research, Dr. Ahmed Ali Murad, indicated that the faculty members, researchers and students have published 21 scientific papers on "Covid-19" in international scientific journals, indicating that the studies were conducted through cooperation with researchers and scientists in local, regional and international universities and centers. Prestigious research, local and international hospitals, the Health Authority, and the Ministry of Health and Community Protection.
